Bench

 

The bench evocates a sculpture that alludes to unformed nature and invites you to touch it and interact with it as you don' t know right away which its function is and what it is. So, it can be an abstract sculpture that can be placed in a public space, in a garden etc. but at the same time you can comfortably seat and lay on it, read a book etc. A beautyfull mentally, spiritually and physically interaction!

The idea behind this project initially was a reflection on an almost filosofical system of investigation and knowledges trying to separate the well known modernist equation "form follows function" and state that architecture and design are not only resolving the problems but that may be instead a system that can expose them.
