Sofa & Table

In this project the sofa and the table are considered similar and parallel to the human body, as something fundamentally elastic, topological and continuous. The project put in crisis the traditional notions of the perception of body and space, being elaborated in the light of different possibilities of interactivity.

The surfaces suggest a desire for liberation. Regardless of the fact that in fluid space everything is fluid except of our body (forced to negotiate its positions), the sofa's form change accelerations, speeds, vectors on its path and by doing so different comfort zones are smoothly created satisfying different group of persons and different situations; a gradual progression of different heights, comfort postures, of being hurry or relaxed etc.
